Evie Kyrana

Dr. Evie Kyrana is owner of a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Panteion University, Master of Science in Medical Psychology from University of Bristol, UK, and owner of a PhD in Psychology from the University of Athens. She has specialized in clinical sexology by completing two cycles of studies: A two-year Master’s program of University Mental Health Research Institute (U.M.H.R.I.) in University of Athens and the Master’s program of European Society of Sexual Medicine (ESSM). In 2013 she was awarded with the honorary title “Fellow of the European Committee on Sexual Medicine (honFECSM). Her reasearch work includes 18 international publishings. In 2012 she took part in writing three chapters of the book “The ESSM Syllabus of Sexual Medicine”, while in 2013 she was chosen as one out of four editors for the book “The EFS and ESSM Syllabus in Clinical Sexology” in which she had written 5 chapters. In 2014 she was chosen as a member of the editing team for the new edition of “The ESSM Syllabus of Sexual Medicine”. She is chairman in the Exam Committee for the Certification of “Psycho-sexologists” and member of Educational Committee of the ESSM. Moreover, since 2014, she is member of the International Committee Guidelines for Sexual Medicine. Since 2017 she is chairman of the Scientific Committee of European Society of Sexology. Alongside with her private office, since 2003 she works as a scientific partner in the Sexual and Reproductive Health Society (SRHS) of AUTH. Also, since 2012 she was a professor in the Master’s program of U.M.H.R.I. and in all the educational activities of the ESSM.
